Skid Prefabrication for Coal Plant Upgrade

Project Summary

Our team prefabricated custom-designed fuel oil, atomizing steam and atomizing air skids as part of upgrades to a coal generation plant for a major utility. Working with a design by Burns & McDonnell, AZCO used multiple trades to produce the skids. They were sent in one shipment to support the utility's scheduled outage deadlines.

AZCO procured all piping, valves, materials and instrumentation to modularize all three skids for final destination at the project site.
