Pump Skids for Power Generation Plant

Project Summary

Our team completed prefabrication and delivery for four pump skids for a power generation project in Canada. Burns & McDonnell designed the skids to minimize field installation time and maximize productivity.

The skids included demineralized water, service water, wastewater and closed cooling water pumps. Pump capacities range from 155 gallons per minute (gpm) to 8,900 gpm with skid piping up to 18-inch nominal pipe size (NPS). The skids were also fabricated with instrument stands to support on-skid auxiliaries.

Procurement and fabrication of all structural and piping components were managed by the AZCO team. Completion and delivery of the skids successfully met the project schedule.
