Green Liquor Clarifier Tank Fabrication & Installation

Project Summary

Our team completed the fabrication and installation of a new green liquor clarifier tank top half. The tank top is a 22-foot-tall stainless steel shell with a 55-foot-diameter carbon steel roof. Our work included rolling the 8-foot by 20-foot shell section in our metal fabrication facility, shipping the panels to the site for prefabrication before erection as a single 117,000-pound piece. We also removed the existing top half of the tank in one piece. The removal of the old tank top and installation of the new top was completed in 72 hours.
