Cove Point LNG Plant

Project Summary

We provided shop fabrication for the power block, transition, and cryogenic project areas for a liquified natural gas (LNG) plant.

Shop fabrication included 63,000 feet of carbon steel, chrome-moly and stainless steel pipe spools for two heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and the ammonia injection systems. The largest weight per spool was more than 35,000 pounds, with the total spool count of 4,160. Pipe materials included carbon steel, stainless steel, CR, P11, P22, AL20 and AL6XN.
