Campus Cogeneration Facility

Project Summary

We installed two GE LM6000 combustion turbines and generators for the West Campus cogeneration facility at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The project included centerline erection, piping and auxiliary equipment installation. Our team also installed a GE DN364 steam turbine and generator, two Deltak GO2004 heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), including setting of auxiliary equipment, and a backup Cummins diesel generator. 

We also set these components: 

• Condenser 
• Four York OM systems 
• Two York Titan water cooled chiller systems
• Three water cooling towers 
• Overflow basins
