Project Summary
Our team prefabricated 11 covered walkway modules, including piping, cable tray and wiring, for an air quality control system (AQCS) project at Oak Creek Power Plant. The coal-fired plant on Lake Michigan generates 1,135 megawatts (MW).
The advanced AQCS was installed in 2012 on all four steam generating units with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) emission control components, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by more than 90%.
