APPLETON, Wisconsin — AZCO has selected Juan Arellano as its new vice president of finance and administration. Prior to that, Arellano served as a project controls department manager at Burns & McDonnell in Houston, bringing more than 16 years of project management and project controls experience. Arellano replaces Amy Lewis, who accepted a position within Burns & McDonnell.
Arellano will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of AZCO, the union construction subsidiary of Burns & McDonnell. He will also develop, communicate and execute strategies, goals, policies and purposes for the company. He will be responsible for overall process adherence, recruitment and performance evaluations for department staff.
“We are so excited to have Juan join our community and look forward to supporting his transition into AZCO,” says Earle Cianchette, CEO of AZCO. “Juan’s ability to create a culture of safety and employee engagement and his strong passion for serving communities align perfectly with our values.”
AZCO has become a significantly larger company since being acquired by Burns & McDonnell in 2016, executing self-perform construction, pipe, metal, and electrical prefabrication in increasing markets including solar, battery storage, natural gas, oil and gas, and aviation fueling.
“I am incredibly excited to start this new journey with AZCO,” Arellano says. “My role is to affirm and advance AZCO’s relevance in the industry and community as I help maintain and advance the company’s mission and goals by providing strategic leadership.”
