Modular Outfitting Facility (MOF) Expansion

Project Summary

As part of an engineer-procure-construct (EPC) team with Burns & McDonnell, we are working on an expansion of a modular outfitting facility (MOF). A 200-foot extension is being added to the building’s west side to support the construction of Block V Virginia-class submarines. The facility will enable work on Block V submarines — 80 feet longer than typical models — out of all four facility bays, doubling capacity. Our team is erecting 3,500 tons of structural steel for the expansion.
