Our team has provided construction, installation and fabrication services for multiple projects at Midwestern and Canadian processing plants for a major global food and agricultural product manufacturer.
Biodiesel Crush Plant Expansion
Our team provided in-shop fabrication of stainless steel and carbon steel pipe spool and vapor duct for a BQ 9000 biodiesel crush plant expansion. The expansion increased production capacity by 40%.
The plant processes soybean oil into either a biodiesel product or a pharmaceutical-grade glycerin product. The accelerated project required fabrication and installation of 3 miles of carbon steel pipe, 1.5 miles of stainless steel pipe and one-half mile of 2,205 stainless steel pipe over four months.
Since the piping installation was in conjunction with building steel erection, coordination between the engineering field staff and our prefabrication shops was crucial.
Extraction Facility
We installed shop-fabricated piping, flanges, fittings and piping supports, including those for Vic-Press system lines for a new extraction facility.
Canola Oil Extraction Pipe Prefabrication
We fabricated stainless steel and carbon steel pipe spools for extraction, enzymatic degumming and utility piping systems for canola oil processing facilities in Canada.
